Preliminary Expedition

This is an acclimatisation expedition prior to the main expedition. Duncan will start at the Russian temporary Arctic base ‘Barneo’ and navigate on foot to the main expedition start location at around *88 degrees North.

Expedition distance: approx 140km

*The expedition start location will be confirmed on receiving accurate and current ice conditions for the region prior to leaving from Spitsbergen.
