Methodology
Our aim is to make the entire expedition as accessible and as personally involving for the partnered students/schools as possible. This will capture their enthusiasm and interest to give them a realistic picture of the entire journey’s highs and lows. We aim to provide personal involvement and participation by the following means:
Encouragement of personal involvement and participation by establishing relationships through the pre-expedition programmes with schools in the form of visits and modules highlighting a number of engaging topics, such as ambition, leadership, motivation and communication
Providing continuous coverage of the journey with real-time expedition broadcasts, accessible via the internet. This will enable students to gain greater insight and an enhanced feeling of involvement in the expedition
We have worked alongside schools on how best to address the educational objectives and generate positive outcomes. In doing this we have created bespoke modules and programmes for the students. These have been introduced to the partnered schools by the expedition team
Following the schools programmes and expedition, a detailed evaluative report will be written illustrating our experiences and learning. This report will be distributed to the partnered schools and new institutions to generate further potential development and programmes.
