Core Expedition

Aim

To navigate the Arctic Sea ice, from 88 degrees North to the Geographic North Pole, followed by the return journey concluding safely at ‘Barneo’, the Russian temporary Arctic base.

Expedition distance: approx 400km

Duncan’s expedition will be unsupported* and on foot.

* Unsupported: No assistance for the entire expedition – all food & fuel is pulled in the sledge.
